I had read that children need to have sensory play as well as active and imaginitive play. Play-Doh is perfect to roll, stamp, cut, and mold. Tyler has never played with anything like this. I sit and watch to make sure he does not try to eat it, and show him how to roll and mold it.
He loves the rolling pin and the little scissors. He really enjoys the whole process.
I don't know of any kid that does not enjoy Play-Doh.
I thought this would only hold his attention for 5 to 10 minutes but actually it's more like 30 or more minutes of play time. Even then he protests me putting it away sometimes. Possibilites are endless and he is so much fun to entertain and teach.
