He loves his sunglasses. What a fun little guy I have.

It is super hot. The humidity is high. Then there was water.
So we took a moment to cool ourselves off and have a water fight.
Tony grabbed the camera to take a picture of the results, but the humidity was so high the camera fogged up.
Here are the pictures of the results of our water fight. It is the best we could do.

The American Tradition: hot dogs, ice cream, and cheering on the Asheville Tourists.
We went to the game last night.
We had the best time. By the way I don't know that little girl. The mascot just grabbed her too for the picture. Tyler was still watching the game.
Then he got a little concerned about why the mascot had his arm around us.
We had grilled pretzels with cinnamon and sugar. It was hot outside so he didn't really have an appetite.
He enjoyed the pretzel and we got him a helmet cup full of dipping dots ice cream.
Tyler enjoyed practicing following the ball and acting like he was hitting the ball. Tony would tell him to watch the pitcher, wiggle-wiggle the bat, and SWING.
He would almost collapse into giggles.
Immediately, he would grab for Tony's hand to try for the next pitch. He did this for at least a whole inning. That is great for a toddler's attention span.
Watch the pitcher, wiggle-wiggle, and ...
To say we enjoyed the game is an understatement. We had an awesome time with our little guy and he loved watching the game so much.

He can climb into the kitchen chairs, his rocking horse, the couch, and pretty much anything a foot can get up on. I have seen him attempt to climb my floor length mirror.
The couch is his favorite. It offers endless possibilities with the cushions and pillows.
He bounces, dives, and belly flops all over it.
Why do we buy toys?

Tyler loves Tucker, Tucker loves Tyler, he just does not want to be within Tyler's reach.
So Tucker is always on the move to allude being captured by our toddler.
Tyler loves the chase most of the time, but sometimes he gets frustrated that his dog just does not stand still.
These pictures capture a good day. Tyler has given up the chase under the kitchen table and is calling for Tucker to come back. He stays ever so sweet while doing so.
One day he will put it all together and figure it out.

We had a nice 4th of July in Raleigh, NC. It stormed and rained out all the firework shows. Except for the neighbors, so we still got to see fireworks. It was Tyler's first firework show and he enjoyed it so much.
Just when I thought he might be getting scared he would laugh and say, "POW." His little hand would grip the back collar of my shirt when it would get loud, but he would always turn to me and smile.
He is wearing a cute outfit that Hannah got for him (Thanks again Hannah). Those are shorts not carpi pants by the way. He has plenty of growing room and he was such a little cutie enjoying his 4th of July.

He loves to be a part of the preparation of food. He sees me stir something on the stove and he immediately assumes this is something that he can do.
I try to let him see what I am doing and let him help when it is safe, but for the most part he is just not old enough.
To help him feel like he is a part of the process I pour a few beans in a pot and he can pretend to cook too.
He now expects this once I start cooking.
He loves filling the funnel with beans and sorting the beans into all of his little pots and pans.
I try to keep an eye on him though, I don't want him to get any ideas like sticking the beans up his nose. Last thing I need is him growing a garden in his nose.

What do these have in common?
Nothing really. He needed his nails trimmed because he scratches his self when he gets tired and rubs his face.
He had just ate a yummy doughnut and was wearing a cute hat from Krispy Kreme.
Aunt Angie was trimming his nails and he was not too happy about it. She is such a wonderful Aunt.
He loves his Aunt Angie, but he does not like his nails getting trimmed.
He does love dancing and wearing a hat though. So he shook his booty and did a little dance to be finished.

Tyler enjoyed something a little different during our stay in Raleigh, NC. He got to visit Marbles Kid's Museum with his Dad, Hannah, and J.T.
Getting to really enjoy a museum is a little hard for him at his age. The Natural Science Museum was what I had in mind, and I think he would have enjoyed it, but there was the issue of he wants to climb and touch everything.
Marbles was suggested by my sister-in-law. It is a kid's museum full of interactive fun for kid's. Tyler was pretty much overwhelmed with what to do with all the action, but as you can see below he found a way to fit in almost everything.
There was a bus to get on and play in.
Tyler is actually in the driver's seat getting to play.
The boys enjoyed the art section.
Although I think they will enjoy it more in the future. Tyler enjoyed taking the pencils out and looking at them.
Of course dad had to get a picture with the hockey jerseys.
Tyler always enjoys saying 'hey' to himself in the mirror.
The museum encouraged being active and getting exercise.
There was all sorts of ways to play and get around.
Tyler enjoyed the soccer field and running after all the balls.
Then it was to the pretend surfing area. Tyler was ready for Hannah to help him aboard with JT.
So here we have JT holding onto Hannah, Tyler holding onto JT, and just so things didn't get crazy, Dad holding onto Tyler.
Even though he has never been to the beach he can say that he has had his first surf lesson.
Balance game or something. Not really sure, but it looks fun.
Here is a nice view outside to the street.
Pretty neat view of the people walking in and out.
Once again promoting physical fitness. Creating your own obstacle course, Tyler passed on this.
The boys went next to the Splash area. A little too much water was flying around so they moved on, but not without plenty of time floating ducks and boats down the little river.
This area had a submarine, aquarium,
and a ship! Dad said this was not really suited for Tyler's age. He loved the submarine. It had buttons and lights and plenty of little interactive things to do.
This is the 'Around Town' section.
It had trains, which Tyler loves.
Wheelbarrows for him to push.
A fire engine.
Kid's get to play dress up as well, so he wore a fire hat.
Then he found a boat.
And he loved it.
He likes to drive and push things right now so this was perfect.
He had to try out the little red car.
And then there was the lawn mowers. His obsession right now. He had to drive both.
Dad liked them because they were not as loud as Tyler's little mower back at our house.
He took a break from mowing to plant a garden.
He knew exactly what to do too.
Although he planted a syringe from the Get Well section of town.
Well he must have found more grass to clip because he grabbed the weed eater next.
He tried to get it all, but there was just too much to do.
He rounded out his visit with the farm animals and pointing out the tractors to Dad.
He loved his visit. Next time he better take his mommy because I know I would really enjoy watching him.
